Regular and Invisible Braces in Stockholm
At Smajla you will find an experienced team of specialists on orthodontic treatments with both visible and invisible braces. Our orthodontics team is led by specialist orthodontist Jessica Hedborg, who is one of the top specialists in Sweden on both Invisalign and Incognito treatments. We have treated over 6 000 patients since we were founded in 2008.
At our two clinics in Stockholm at Östermalmstorg and in the Täby Centrum shopping mall you will various members of our orthodontic team, but your treatment will always be done under the supervision of our specialist orthodontist. We also have a flagship clinic on Avenyn in Göteborg.
We also treat children & teenagers living in Stockholm, Sweden, that have received a free treatment, “tandregleringscheck”, from Stockholms Läns Landsting. The free treatment is only available for children and teenagers that require more substantial treatment to correct their bite.

Orthodontic Treatment Types
We specialise in Invisalign clear aligners and Incognito invisible braces, but of course also provide treatment with regular visible braces.
Invisalign – Clear Aligner
Clear aligners have several benefits compared to regular braces, but are at the same time not possible to use for all kinds of smiles.
Some of the benefits include:
- Transparent and more or less invisible when used daily
- Completely removable for those special occasions
- Easier dental care / tooth brushing
- Time saving with less time spent at the orthodontist
- Can often, but not always, result in a quicker treatment plan

Incognito – Invisible Braces
Incognito invisible / lingual braces are more similar to traditional braces, but with the main benefit that they are placed behind your teeth instead of in front of them.
To achieve this the braces are custom made for your teeth, with a slightly longer starting time, but regular treatment time to visible braces.
